Ebby P. Jido, MD

Pain Management/Anesthesiology
Dr. Jido is a diplomate of the American Board of Anesthesiology with sub-specialty training in Pain Management. He currently focuses on interventional pain medicine and multidisciplinary evidence-based treatment of chronic pain. He has been in practice for 21 years and was the Director of the Pain Management Center at Advocate Christ Medical Center for approximately 15 years. He obtained his Medical Degree from Southern Illinois University School of Medicine and did his residency at University of Chicago. Dr. Jido also completed an additional year of sub-specialty training at the University of Chicago in Pain Management.
Throughout his practice, Dr. Jido has been involved in a multidisciplinary approach to treating pain, and has collaborated with other physicians such as Neurosurgery, Orthopedic Spine Surgeons, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Physicians as well as Primary Care Physicians. Dr. Jido also teaches residents and medical students during their rotations in the Pain Clinic setting and the operating room theatre.
Dr. Jido has extensive experience in interventional pain techniques, including implantation of spinal cord stimulators and intrathecal pumps, as well as medical management for those group of patients who are not good candidates for the interventional approach.
