Dr. Lindsay-Rivera is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon specializing in Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery. His philosophy regarding patient care is one where he treats patients as though they were his own family. He believes wholeheartedly in gathering the story of your hip or knee pain and discussing both nonoperative and operative treatments for your pain with you. His practice focuses on reviewing the latest treatment options for your hip or knee pain and getting you back to what you enjoy in life!

Dr. Lindsay-Rivera grew up in Chicago’s western suburbs and attended Benet Academy in Lisle, IL for High School. He completed his undergraduate bachelor of science degree at Yale University in New Haven, CT in the field of Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology where he graduated with magna cum laude honors and was elected to the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He thereafter completed his medical degree at the University of Chicago, Pritzker School of Medicine.

Dr. Lindsay-Rivera then went on to complete his general Orthopaedic Surgery training at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, MI where he co-authored multiple publications and research works in the field of hip and knee reconstruction and won the Theodore Parsons III award for outstanding professionalism and leadership with respect to his clinical care.

Following residency, he sought subspecialty training in Hip and Knee Reconstruction at the prestigious Cleveland Clinic. Here, he learned more nuanced techniques to assist in delivering comprehensive care for patients with degenerative Hip and Knee conditions, focusing on the latest technology and cutting-edge methods for Hip and Knee Replacement. This included a focus on robotic-assisted joint arthroplasty, minimally invasive posterior and direct anterior approaches to Hip replacement, and experience in evaluating the painful Total Knee or Total Hip Replacement for consideration of Revision, or redo Joint Surgery.

When at home, Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife and mini-goldendoodle. He is an avid Chicago White Sox, Blackhawks, and Bears fan and enjoys traveling to the city to partake in its world-class food and museum scene.
