- 500 pound weight capacity
- Lowers to 20 inches allowing easy access for wheelchair, elderly and mobility-challenged patients
- Retractable arm boards on either side provide additional comfort and security for the patient and a workspace for injecting contrast
- Arm boards also extend fully upright to serve as side rails during patient transportation
- Greater than 9 feet of table travel allows the scan to be performed feet first leading to low anxiety orientation
- The spacious room with multiple windows and the sky view LED ceiling improves patient comfort and reduces anxiety and claustrophobia
- The MRI scan time is significantly reduced, most of the scans take less than 25 minutes
About MRI Scans
An MRI Scan (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) may be ordered by your orthopedic doctor to make a diagnosis and institute an appropriate treatment plan. Palos MRI has a state of the art Open MRI.
