Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Specialist

Dr. Alwin David is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) specialist with specific fellowship training in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine. He is dedicated to helping patients overcome pain, restore function, and return to the activities that matter most to them. He takes a compassionate, patient-centered, and comprehensive approach to care that focuses on each patient’s unique story to help improve their quality of life, mobility, and long-term function.

He utilizes evidence-based treatments, including image-guided spine procedures, regenerative and neuromodulation techniques, and comprehensive rehabilitation strategies tailored to each patient's individual goals. He wants his patient to feel heard, informed and empowered to regain confidence in their bodies and return to the activities they enjoy with as little limitation as possible.

Dr. David completed his medical degree at Central Michigan University College of Medicine before pursuing residency training in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Miami/Jackson Health System in Florida. He then completed advanced fellowship training in Interventional Spine and Musculoskeletal Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic, where he developed expertise in the diagnosis and treatment of spine, nerve, joint, and musculoskeletal conditions.

Throughout his training, Dr. David has remained actively involved in research, medical education, and community service. He has presented nationally on topics in rehabilitation, musculoskeletal medicine, and spine care.

Outside of medicine, Dr. David enjoys playing sports, fitness, listening to and performing music, and spending time with family and friends. His passion for health and performance extends beyond the clinic and reinforces his commitment to helping patients achieve active, fulfilling lives.
